Pair your preferred GlassCraft door slab with compatible frames and hardware. Use these components to build single, double, or sidelite configurations that match project specs and jobsite conditions.

Prehung

A prehung door is a fully assembled unit—including the door slab, frame, hinges, and often a threshold—designed for quick installation directly into a rough opening.

Typical use: Used in new construction or remodels for fast, accurate installation.

Mullion

A mullion is a vertical structural element used to divide larger window or door openings into sections, providing support, separation, and aesthetic definition.

Typical use: Sidelite and transom systems

Sills & Thresholds

A threshold is a horizontal component at the bottom of the door frame that transitions between interior and exterior flooring while helping block air, water, and debris.

Options: Adjustable and fixed profiles

Weatherstrip

Weatherstrip is sealing material installed around the perimeter of the door to close gaps and enhance energy efficiency, insulation, and overall weather protection.

Typical use: Seals the gap between the door and frame.

Astragal (T-Astragal)

An astragal is a T-shaped component installed on the inactive door to seal the gap between paired doors and house the top and bottom flush bolts that secure the passive panel in place.

Typical use: Double doors with active/inactive panels

Brickmould & Exterior Casing

Casing is decorative trim installed around the door frame to conceal wall gaps and create a clean, finished appearance.

Typical use: Exterior pre-hung assemblies

Hinges

Heavy-duty hinges and mounting hardware that support door weight and provide smooth, long-lasting operation.

Options: Ball-bearing, non-removable pin designs

Door Jamb

The frame around the sides and top of a doorway that holds hinges and the strike plate to secure the door.

Typical use: Single and double pre-hung units
